Synthesis, antimicrobial activities and cytogenetic studies of newer diazepino quinoline derivatives via Vilsmeier-Haack reaction.
The study of the Vilsmeier-Haack reagent on 4-hydroxyquinaldines resulted in a new versatile intermediate 4-chloro-3-formyl-2-(2-hydroxy-ethene-1-yl)quinolines, which on further treatment with hydrazine hydrate yielded the desired diazepino quinoline derivatives. All the synthesized diazepino quinoline derivatives are screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. Cytogenetic analy...
متن کاملSynthesis of benzaldehyde substituted phenyl carbonyl hydrazones and their formylation using Vilsmeier-Haack reaction
A series of benzaldehyde substituted phenyl carbonyl hydrazones has been synthesized and their formylation has been carried out by using Vilsmeier-Haack reaction. All the hydrazones and their formyl derivatives were screened for antibacterial activity.
متن کاملRe-evaluation of turbidimetry of proteins by use of aromatic sulfonic acids and chloroacetic acids.
From studies on 11 different proteins (including native albumin and albumin with reduced disulfide-bridges) treated with sulfosalicylic, 2-naphthalenesulfonic, toluenesulfonic, dichloroacetic, or trichloroacetic acids, we elucidate the interactions determining the resulting turbidities and other factors affecting turbidities, and we discuss the clinical utility of such turbidimetry. At least th...
متن کاملMicrowave-assisted Synthesis of Nـ alkyl 2ـ ketomethyl quinoline Derivatives Under Solvent-free Conditions
A series of Nـ alkyl 2ـ ketomethylquinoline derivatives were synthesis by reaction of benzoyl chloride derivatives with Nـ methyl quinaldine iodide in the presence of triethyl amine under microwave irradiation. Enaminone form of the product study by spectroscopy method. The result revealed the Nـ alkyl 2ـ ketomethylquinoline the fixed enaminone tautomer.
متن کاملUltrasound-Promoted Synthesis of Aryl Amides from Isocyanides and Carboxylic Acids under Ambient Conditions
The synthesis of aryl amides via the reactions of carboxylic acids and isocyanides in methanol was carried out in 78-95% yields under ultrasound irradiation. The method has wide applicability, and the protocol is mild, fast and efficient compared to the existing methods based on silent conditions.
